1) SPLASH (http://www.eu-splash.eu/): This 4 year EU research project,, led by Wageningen UR Food & Biobased Research, the four-year project has the goal of developing a new biobased industrial platform that uses microalgae as a raw material for the sustainable production and recovery of hydrocarbons and (exo)polysaccharides from algae, as well as their further conversion into renewable polymers. 2) Microalgae Biomass Production. Confidential project funded by Saudi Arabian chemical company SABIC (www.sabic.com) 3) Microalgae Production Plant in Uruguay. Confidential economical analysis project funded by the daily company Estancias del Lago (Uruguay)
