Climate summit COP28
The COP28, the 28th UN climate summit, will take place in Dubai from 30 November - 12 December 2023. At this summit, UN member states will discuss the global fight against climate change. Wageningen University & Research scientists aim to provide delegations with accurate information and to follow the negotiations closely.
The pillars of the COP28 Action Agenda are: fast tracking a just, orderly, and well-managed energy transition, fixing climate finance, focusing on people, lives and livelihoods, and underscoring everything with full inclusivity.
WUR will organise sessions to inform participants and to bring them into contact with each other. In doing so, we will involve youth, students, governments, NGOs and companies. We will mainly focus on the importance of nature based solutions. WUR has a strong track record and an international reputation in these fields.
