SG - Contemplative Conversation On Gaza and Israel
The recent horror in Israel and the Palestinian Occupied Territories has shocked the world and stirred many emotions. Humanity is challenged at a fundamental level by what has happened. The world has witnessed heinous crimes and failures to respect obligations under international law.
While the pain, suffering and grief has been obvious, knowing how to relate to this tragedy and finding a way to navigate the feelings and their impact upon us, has perhaps been less straightforward. For this, we invite you a special conversation where you can share how these events have impacted you. Evanne Nowak, (academically trained in existential counselling at University of Humanistic Studies - Utrecht), will walk us through a structured conversation where a safe space is created in the tradition of contemplative dialogue. This is an opportunity to share and be heard. Soup for Thought will be offered at the outset.
