Scientists don't do opinions, but they are often put in a corner that way. WUR helps researchers recognise polarisation dynamics. What is wise to do when the outside world gets hold of your research, when elements are named in an unsubstantiated way or even exploited for improper purposes?

What does it take to sustain yourself as a scientist or researcher in times of polarisation? WUR works closely with polarisation expert and philosopher Bart Brandsma. He has been dealing with the phenomenon for decades, with his 'Polarisation Framework' taking centre stage. Using this framework, Wageningen researchers receive introductions, strategic sessions and master classes to better deal with their role in the public arena.

WUR would like to share this knowledge with every Dutch scientist, and with numerous other so-called 'professional neutrals' such as policymakers, journalists, mayors, etc. In a six-part podcast (in Dutch), Bart Brandsma guides listeners through his Polarisation Framework.
