Milieutechnologieën in de melkveehouderij tegen klimaatverandering : Testen en bemeten van (bijna) praktijkrijpe combinaties van technieken om methaanemissie uit mest in bestaande melkveestallen te verminderen

Samenvatting

The project ‘Adapting dairy barns to reduce methane’ is testing and measuring techniques/measures, or combinations thereof that are (almost) ready for use in 2021, meant to significantly reduce the methane emission from manure in dairy barns with traditional slatted floors and a manure pit. This report introduces the results regarding: (1) Cooling manure, (2) mixing manure with air, (3) separating manure and controlled composting of solid fraction and (4) primary separation of manure fractions + solid manure.
