Samenvatting

An inventory has identified different parallel initiatives for monitoring the carbon footprint of pork. Cooperation between the initiatives has started. In research, three programs are relevant. All with emphasis on mitigation of methane from manure storages and little attention for the mitigation potential in the feed chain. It is strongly recommended to develop one monitoring system with one central database.
