L (Leila) Hossein Abadi MSc

Leila Hossein Abadi is a PhD candidate in the 'BENCHMARKS' project funded by the European Union which aims to develop an integrated multifunctional Soil Health assessment and monitoring framework. Within this project, her main task includes developing sensor-based soil health indicator proxies and evaluating their applicability across different spatial scales, in different landscapes across Europe. She is based in two soil science groups and supervised by Prof. dr. Rachel Creamer (Soil Biology Group) and Dr. Titia Mulder (Soil Geography and Landscape group).

She holds a B.Sc degree in Soil Science - Agriculture Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Iran and a M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS), Water and Soil Studies at the Faculty of Earth Sciences from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), Tehran, Iran.
