Exhibition with work from Orestis Spyrou
Orestis Spyrou is a graduate of the master's programme Biosystems Engineering at Wageningen University & Research. His academic interest is in digital twins, extended realities, and artificial intelligence. In his free time, he likes to paint. His paintings are now on display in the glass cabinet on the 3rd floor of the Forum Library until the end of September 2023.
Work on display
The exhibition is entitled 'Sources of universal wisdom', and shows 35 acrylic paintings. The paintings are created from 2019 to 2023.
About Spyrou
Orestis Spyrou was born in Greece. After completing his studies at the Technical University of Crete, he started his master Biosystems Engineering in Wageningen. He graduated in 2022. His academic interest is in digital twins, extended realities, and artificial intelligence. For his research publications, see this overview in Research@WUR.
The Covid-19 pandemic has given Spyrou the space and inspiration he needs to truly become an artist again.
