Honorary doctorate Professor Graham Farquhar
On Friday March 15, Wageningen University conferred three honorary doctorates.
One of these honorary doctorates was conferred on Professor Graham Farquhar, biophysicist at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. Professor Struik of CSA acted as honorary promotor. Professor Farquhar received this honour for his ground-breaking work on modelling of C3 and C4 photosynthesis, the physiology of stomata, isotope discrimination by plants and climate change.
