First certificate Electronmicroscopy for Mia Hikke

Mia Hikke is the first PhD student to receive a certificate for the Basic Course in Electron Microscopy organized by Wageningen Electron Microscopy Centre (WEMC). The certificate was handed to her by professor Monique van Oers, chairholder of virology and director of the EM centre. WEMC has been providing EM courses for many years to Phd students who want to use Electron Microscopy for their research. In these courses PhD students learn to work with transmission electron microscopes or scanning electron microscopes. For these courses the PhD student now receive a certificate. This will not only look good on their resume but will also give them credits points for their Training and Supervision Plan.
