External PhD Peter Rudberg publishes on hydropower

External PhD Peter Rudberg published an article in Georgetown International Environmental Law Review where he is lead author. The title: Mitigating the Adverse Effects of Hydropower Projects: A Comparative Review of River Restoration and Hydropower Regulation in Sweden and the United States.

Peter holds a MA from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc from the Stockholm Resilience Center, Stockholm University. His research focuses on environmental policy implementation and learning in water governance with a main focus on river restoration in relation to hydropower production and climate change adaptation of urban water services. His main interest is in exploring to what extent and in what circumstances different forms of learning (policy learning, social learning and organizational learning) provide an effective alternative or complement to more coercive forms of environmental policy implementation.
