Wageningen Indonesia Scientific Exposure 2023 (WISE 2023)
What is WISE?
Wageningen Indonesia Scientific Exposure (WISE) is established as an annual meeting among WUR Indonesian Ph.Ds. and Postdocs, representatives from research institutes, universities, the Indonesian government, WUR promotors /supervisors, and WUR faculty members. WISE aims to create a platform for all Indonesian researchers studying at Wageningen UR to share their research and ideas with a broader scientific community. By doing so, the scope and the depth of research that Indonesians carry out at WUR could be shown to representatives of home institutions, the Indonesians, WUR faculty members, and others who are interested. Moreover, meeting and discussing can create new ideas for collaborative projects to be worked out in the future.
The theme for 2023
The theme of the WISE 2023 is “Towards High-Quality Indonesian Agricultural and Life Sciences Research through Multidisciplinary Collaborations.”
Venue/Date
Wednesday, the 08th March 2023, from 13.00 to 18.00 at The Podium of Omnia Building, Wageningen University and Research (WUR).
What to expect?
WISE2023 is a spectacular opportunity for PhDs, Postdocs, and Master students who work on projects related to Indonesia to present their works by oral or poster presentations. The event will be officially opened by the Rector Magnificus of WUR and the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
We invite acknowledged experts from The Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency, IPB University, and WUR to be keynote speakers in the plenary session. Also, more than 50 delegates from Universities in Indonesia will come and participate in this event to strengthen the collaboration between WUR and Indonesia.
The event will continue with a panel section for selected oral presentations with professional panelists from related fields. An Indonesian dinner and networking will wrap up the event.

Registration
The deadline for the submission of abstracts has been closed. However, we still open the registration for those interested in joining the conference as participants. The conference registration is free. For whom are interested in joining the conference dinner and networking, we serve lovely typical Indonesian cuisine. Please make a reservation on the registration link, and an advance payment for dinner is required (30 euros/person). We will send the invoice once the reservation is made.
