X (Xingshi) Gao
PromovendusGAO Xingshi is a PhD candidate at WUR, Education and Learning Science (ELS) group. She holds a M.A. in Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from University College London and a B.A. in English from Donghua University.
Prior to joining ELS, she served as a grant assistant at Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) and a part-time IELTS teacher in China. Her teaching experience fuels her research interests in the education of language learning and teaching. Her current research project, under the guidance of Dr. Harm Biemans, Dr. Judith Gulikers, and Dr. Omid Noroozi, focuses on peer feedback practices in higher education within online settings.
