Experienced architect and engineer of software systems, based around data science, semantic web technology, natural language processing, GIS, scientific model integration, and mobile devices. Currently working on (spatial) data analytics, data visualisations, and solutions for improving data discoverability and (semantic) interoperability, applied to agriculture and food-security research, and smart cities. Both in national and international projects. As a side track I develop Android and iOS apps, mostly focussing on location based functionality and scientific model results. I also participate in hackathons and help organise them.
