PromovendusMy research interest lies in the study of the politics of rural water in China. My Phd project uses the governmentality framework to study the power dynamics hidden in the connection between water, technology, state and rural society. The study contributes to the understanding of China rural water governance and the nature of Chinese governmentalities.
I hold master degrees in International Relations specialized in International Development Studies from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and Nanjing University, China.
