Lotte Schrijver is a PhD Candidate at the Strategic Communication group at Wageningen University, the Sociology department at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the Pandemic and Disaster Preparedness Center. In her PhD project, she studies the presence and effects of misinformation during the covid pandemic using machine learning and experimental methods. Previously, she studied Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism at Utrecht University and Political Science at Leiden University. Her research interests are misinformation and science communication, crisis communication, and the role of inequality in voting behavior.
