I  hold a Master's degree in Ecology from the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA), where I conducted an experiment to understand how natural low phosphorus availability may constrain elevated CO2-induced responses within the AmazonFACE experiment.

After completing my MSc I worked as a research technician in a project focused on understanding the role of underground water availability on tree growth and forest structure in Central Amazonia, with a focus on drought events (e.g. 2023 El Niño).

I am currently a PhD candidate at FEM group and my project aims to understand how periodic dry periods affect diel and seasonal growth of tropical trees. I am fascinated by tropical forests and particullarly interested in forest structure, tree growth and ecophysiology.
