Two upcoming PhD defenses in the Laboratory of Phytopathology

There will be two upcoming PhD defenses in the Laboratory of Phytopathology (Phytophthora Group). Yu Du will defend her thesis entitled 'Phytophthora infestans RXLR effector AVR1 and its host target Sec5'. Subsequently, Yan Wang will defend her thesis entitled 'Understanding the role of L-type lectin receptor kinases in Phytophthora resistance'. There will be a short symposium prior to the defenses.
