Scientists in the city

On Wednesday 6 September, Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is organising the event 'Scientists in the City'. A playful activity at which WUR will connect with the city as part of the opening of the academic year and our 105th anniversary.

Venue Wageningen Campus (start) - Wageningen Centre, marketplace

Can it be an ounce of science?

The idea is to show in a very practical way how our science touches the everyday lives of Wageningen's residents, thereby increasing the sense of connection between city-campus and science-all-day.

Together at the market

On 6 September, we will cycle from the campus to the city-centre market at 10.30 with a group of participating researchers. After arriving together, we will spread out across the market, standing at either the WUR stall or one of the market stalls. Who will stand where with what story will be coordinated in advance with the market vendors. Mayor Vermeulen and WUR-president Sjoukje Heimovaara will also join us. We plan to stay at the market until 12.30, but of course you are always welcome to stay longer.
