Teamwork for the UN
The International Environmental Policy Consultancy Project (IEPC) is a unique course, organized by the Environmental Policy Group of Wageningen University. Wageningen students who take this course collaborate with New York State University in America on a project for a real client, the United Nations.
Collaborating with your fellow students can be difficult enough, but it gets even harder when half the group is on the other side of the Atlantic, in another time zone and with a differently structured academic year. The students are required to engage in intensive consultations using video conferencing, Skype, Sharepoint, email and Facebook, culminating in one joint report.
