Machiel Lamers delivers polar presentations in New Zealand

ENP staff member Machiel Lamers will travel to New Zealand to attend the SCAR Antarctic Science conference in Auckland and the 4th IPTRN conference in Christchurch. He will deliver presentations on the development of Antarctic marine protected areas (MPAs), the stability of the Antarctic tourism self-regulatory system, and joint knowledge production for Svalbard cruise tourism. As chair of the International Polar Tourism Research Network –IPTRN, Machiel Lamers will open the conference and lead the business meetings of the research network.
