A blog on the MARE Policy Day Geopolitics of the Arctic Ocean
Last week, Jan van Tatenhove and Judith van Leeuwen from the Environmental Policy Group, together with Coco Smits from Royal HaskoningDHV, organized the MARE Policy Day in Amsterdam.
During this day the organizers brought together a wide range of Arctic and non-Arctic stakeholders, including scientists, companies, governmental agencies and eNGOs, to discuss and explore the Social License to Operate for various economic activities in the Arctic such as oil & gas, fisheries, shipping and tourism.
