In memoriam Lucas Horst
With great sadness we wish to tell you that Lucas Horst passed away on Tuesday 29 January 2013.
In his career as Hoogleraar Irrigatie en Weg- en Waterbouwkunde (Irrigation and Civil Engineering) his support for interdisciplinary work and field research inspired a generation of students to become engaged irrigation engineers, professionals and researchers.
Our research
The Water Resources Management Group plays a major role in international research on irrigation and water management set in the context of rural transformation. The research activities is divided in Themes, Projects and Capacity Building Projects.
