Vacancy: Assistant Professor in Cultural Geography
The Cultural Geography Chair Group offers a full time tenure track (under conditions renewable) (FTE 1.0) post of Assistant Professor in Cultural Geography to begin in September 2016.
The Assistant Professor will contribute to the BSc and MSc in Landscape Architecture and Planning at Wageningen University, and will supervise students at all levels, including PhDs.
The candidate is also expected to contribute to the Group’s scientific and intellectual life, in line with the research profile of the group and under the direction of the Chair Holder, Prof. Dr. C. Minca.
The starting date is 1st September 2016.
We ask
The candidate must hold a PhD in Human Geography and have previous experience in teaching and research (internationally) in the same areas. The candidate must also have a proven publication record in line with the expected profile for a Tenure Tracker at Wageningen University.
We offer
We offer a full time position (1.0 FTE) of Assistant Professor on a Tenure Track for 3 years (with perspective of extension). Salary depends on knowledge and experience.
Maximum salary € 4.654,- a month (gross) (scale 11) based on a full time employment.
