
Sub-department of Toxicology
The research programme of the section Toxicology covers several disciplinary aspects of toxicology. It concentrates on gaining insight in the mechanisms via which toxic compounds can induce adverse effects on the health of humans and other organisms, either directly via food or indirectly via diffuse environmental pollution.

Our courses
Toxicology provides a number of lecture series and practical courses for Environmental Sciences, Nutritional Sciences and Food Technology students. In addition Biology and Molecular Sciences students often attend Toxicology courses.
